Based out of Southern California, Twenty.Two.Thirty is a fusion group influenced by Jazz, Blues, R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock, Contemporary Classical, and many other styles of music. They will be performing Jazz-Blues at the 2017 Event.

What the Rotary Club of Redlands previously called the “Rotary Red Wine & Blues” fundraising event, is now called “Red Wine & Brews,” to better reflect attendees’ interest in sampling more craft beer.

Save the date now for Saturday, April 1, 2017, 4-7 pm, at the Redlands Country Club for the Rotary Club of Redlands’ 32nd annual fundraising event “Red Wine & Brews.” The event offers tasting of wine, craft beer and locally-brewed whiskey, gourmet food, live jazz music, silent and live auction items, opportunity drawings, and socializing. Funds raised are used for youth scholarships, books and dictionaries for local students, programs for teens and handicapped adults, music and speech competition awards, and many community projects, both locally and abroad.

“Since the Rotary Club of Redlands was founded in 1920 as a non-profit organization, we have been involved with worldwide initiatives, such as polio vaccinations and clean water projects, national projects, and programs directly supporting our local community,” stated Rotary President Jan Hudson. ” We have raised and distributed more than $1.2 million to benefit our community and neighbors around the world. By attending our Red Wine & Brews fundraiser, participants become our partner in sustaining these programs.”

Tickets are $90 in advance; $100 at the door.

The Rotary Club of Redlands continues to devote enormous energies and resources to service.

Sometimes, the availability of financial support makes the difference between a student attending college or not. The Rotary Club of Redlands gifts tens of thousands of dollars of college scholarships each year to Seniors in the Redlands Unified School District. These funds are derived entirely from the Rotary Club of Redlands Foundation.

Every third grade student in the Redlands Unified School District receives a dictionary of their own, compliments of the Rotary Club of Redlands.

Our Youth Services Committee provides monetary support for numerous local youth service groups in need of a hand.

Our Compact Club creates opportunities for local high school students to network with business leaders and learn what it takes to succeed in adult vocations.

Through our “Breakfast and a Book” program, Redlands Rotarians meet before classes with students from every grade selected by their teachers at Franklin and Lugonia Elementary Schools to offer breakfast and read to them from books which the Club provides and the students may then take home and keep.

Each year, our Club throws a party for a group of developmentally challenged adults known as the “Purple Turtles.” The Club hosts, serves a meal, and busses tables at a dinner dance that includes music, entertainment, and a gift for each attendee.

Area high school students from all backgrounds participate in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards weekend, where they meet and bond with other teens in the RYLA program that many students and Rotarians have described as “life-changing.”

  • Our Club gives the opportunity to Redlands student speakers to win cash awards through the “4-Way Test” Speech Contest, where competitors are asked to contemplate the significance of the core values of Rotary Clubs around the world.

For the Redlands students who express themselves through a musical muse, our music competition gives monetary rewards for instrumental and vocal performances to selected participants in our annual Music Competition.
