There are many people that have helped me get to where I am today, and the Rotary club is one of those people. “

“The Rotary Scholarship I earned provided a very helpful boost as I started at Stanford.
Moreover, the scholarship application process itself played an important role in my academic and professional trajectory. Learning to write clearly, persuasively, and succinctly — the skills rewarded in the essay component of the scholarship competition — has paid dividends in the classroom and in the office. The interview portion of the process prepared me to think about presenting myself positively and genuinely, an experience I remembered as I prepared for interviews with Teach For America and law firms in D.C.
I currently chair a committee at the Stanford Public Interest Law Foundation that makes grants to worthwhile public interest legal projects… Last week, I had the distinct pleasure of informing five grantees.. that we would be funding their projects. The positive model that your organization has set motivates me to continue to pay that generosity forward.
Thanks again for your generous scholarship. It has truly made a difference in my life!”
